Venom

Venom Nail Art

Vemon is a forgiving character to paint because of his splattery tendrils. He doesn't have to be perfect, and the messiness just adds to his look.

I was never really into Venom that much in the comic books, but Tom Hardy helped change that. :)

Polish Used:
  • Wet n Wild - French White Creme
  • Base ad top coats
Other Supplies:
  • Acrylic paint - black, white, and red
  • Nail art brush
  • Small straw

I've done a few splatter nails, but always with nail polish. This is the first time I've used acrylic paint and it is soooo much better. The splatter can get a little finer, and the clean up is a breeze since you can just rinse it off your skin with water. To create this look:
  1. Apply a white base color.
  2. Use a small straw for the paint splatter on each nail. Dip one end of the straw in black paint, then firmly blow it onto the nail. Apply top coat as cleanly as possible. Then any excess paint on the edges and skin can be washed off with water.

  3. Use a nail art brush to paint Venom on the middle finger.
    • Paint an elongated egg shape for his head, and a curled tongue from his mouth.
    • Use red paint for his tongue and the outline of his smile.
    • Use white paint to add his eyes, teeth, and some highlights on his face.
