Is anyone ready for fall? These heat waves, power outages to conserve energy from the heat waves, and the lightening storms causing fires everywhere...it is getting crazy.
Artistic Nail Design is here with the Detour Allure Fall 2020 collection full of earthy tones. Yield For No One is a deep red creme. I like that it has a transparent quality, so you can do a thin bright layer, or keep applying for a deeper richer color.
Polish Used:
- Artistic Correction Gel
- Artistic Colour Gloss - Yield For No One
- Gel base and top coats
Other Supplies:
- UV/LED lamp
- Nail art brush
Like its namesake, I wanted a mani that is unyielding. The fluidity of a marble mani is perfect for that. To create this look:
- Apply a gel base coat and cure.
- Use the Artistic Correction Gel as the base "color" and cure. This will create a nice surface for the negative space.
- On a piece of paper or silicone mat, add a couple drops of Correction Gel and Yield For No One, and gently swirl. Use a nail art brush to scoop the swirled gel and drag across the nail for a marbled look.
- Add more red to the tips so they are solid, and then cure.
- Apply a layer of no-wipe gel top coat and cure.
