Badtz-Maru is a penguin with spiky hair, from the Sanrio line of characters. His most famous expression is of pulling one eye down and sticking out his tongue, a gesture equivalent to blowing a raspberry (as seen on my nails). I received the Geo Panda Pattern Water Transfer Decals from Born Pretty Store in exchange for an honest review. I don't use decals too often, but Born Pretty Store has so many cute ones, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try some out. I love that they are so fast to put on, so it is a nice break sometimes from the detailed painting or stamping I do on my nails. All you have to do is paint your nails, cut out the designs you like, put them in water, and transfer them to your nails. The quality of the decals are great. I didn't experience any wrinkling or bleeding in the designs. It was also easy to reposition the decals on my wet nail (wet with water, not polish) until they were in the desired location.

After I placed all the decals, I noticed I put the words in the wrong order...should be Bad Badtz Maru, not Bad Maru Badtz like I have. So just be advised. To create this look:
- Apply a yellow base color.
- Affix the water transfer decals per the instructions on the package.
- Add a 2mm and 3mm black round stud to the base of the thumb.
- Seal everything on with top coat. Done! :)
