Flirty Flair - Jamberry Creation 1

Jamberry Nail Art

If you didn't read my other post about Jamberry Nails...I'm currently hosting a Jamberry party!  If you want a chance to play games, and win some prizes, you can join my party on Facebook.  I received a sample of a Jamberry wrap from a previous party my friend hosted, so I'm going to be creating different looks that utilize the nail wrap.  This is the first of many!

Autumn Argyle

Autumn Argyle Nail Art

You're going to be seeing a lot more manis with fall colors.  This Autumn Argyle look is for China Glaze's fall inspired looks for #CGClique.  At first I was going to do something with stamped leaves, but opted for a fall color scheme instead, with some argyle prints mixed in.  Argyle makes me think of socks, sweaters, and scarves that are all fall weather attire.

Feeling Fall

Fall Nail Art

It's fall!  While I love warm weather, I also love the cool weather of fall for fashion.  I love layering, scarves, boots, the works.  Today's mani is a simple fall inspired look that any nail art beginner can create.

Mystic Marble Mash

Marble Nail Art

I decided to try the plastic bag marbling technique.  I think I used too many colors/polishes for it to work properly, but I still like it.  I based my color choices off of the solar quartz with its iridescent whites and blues.

Harry Potter

Harry Potter Nail Art

Mischief managed.  I loved the Harry Potter books and the movies.  It was hard to decide what to paint on my nails for this one because there are so many options.  I ended up with a more Harry focused look with his owl, Hedwig, and his house colors of Gryffindor.

Banana Republic Brown

Banana Republic Nail Art

Banana Republic is a great store for work or interview attire...I definitely need to buy a new suit from them for my interviews.  Since their logo color is brown, I did a brown color scheme, along with stamped prints I thought embodied the company.  The metal studs add some edge as they've been adding a lot of the moto look to their collection.

Louboutin Nails

Louboutin Nail Art

These stunning nails are painted to look like the beautiful Louboutin heels with the signature red lacquer sole.  The red underneath is a fun surprise to a solid black nail.  You definitely need long nails for this look, so I wanted to do it before I cut mine.

Gotham

Gotham City Nail Art

I've been wanting to do a "bat signal" mani for a while, so the premiere of Gotham seemed like the perfect time.  The city scene is stamped using the reverse stamping method so the windows could be lit up.

The Cat's Meow

Cat Nail Art

This is a recreation of a design by +Liz P, that I saw on Instagram.  The mint green polish paired with the black cat and pastel confetti makes a sweet look.  I improvised on the thumb since that was not pictured in the design I saw online.

Golden Gate Bridge

Golden Gate Bridge Nail Art

Nothing is more iconic about San Francisco than the Golden Gate Bridge.  I love when you can see that bright red bridge peaking through the fog, so that is what I painted here.  I thought I'd take a break from all the stamping to do some detailed freehand painting.

Scientific Stamping

Science Nail Art

Yay science.  We're going back to school with this science inspired nail art.  The matte green look gives a chalkboard feel to go with the scientific nail stamping.

Gilded Feathers

Feather and Foil Nail Art

Here's another look using the feathers I received from +Bundle Monster.  I jazzed up the neutral feather nail art with some gold foil, but it still has the natural feel you would want from a feather mani.

Ice Cream Treats

Ice Cream Nail Art

As promised, this is the 7th design in my week of stamping fun with the +Bundle Monster Sun Kissed Collection.  Summer is not complete without some ice cream!  And I love this ice cream stamp design!  Since there is so much going on with the stamped image, I just kept it simple with the same thing stamped on all nails, with everything the same color.

Seaside Seashells

Seashell Nail Art

I decided to do a more natural/neutral look for today.  Seashells are generally white, off-white, or brown, so I used that as my color palette.  Again, these are the +Bundle Monster Sun Kissed Collection nail stamping plates.

Summer Vacation

Summer Nail Art

While a majority of the designs in the Sun Kissed Collection by +Bundle Monster are ocean themed, there are a few general summer designs as well.  I chose bright colors to go along with the summery feel of this look.

Shark Shiver

Shark Nail Art

A group of sharks is called a shiver of sharks.  I used the shark and choppy water designs from the +Bundle Monster Sun Kissed Collection to create this shark infested look.  I sectioned off part of the water design with chain, to represent the chainmail that is needed for swimming with sharks.

Mermaid Maiden

Mermaid Nail Art

Mermaids!  This is another look using the +Bundle Monster Sun Kissed Collection.  I decided to do a red mermaid theme as opposed to the standard blue.  The inspiration for this twist came from Sally Hansen's Changing Tides polish.  The sheer red polish with red, blue, and silver glitter, reminded me of the shimmering scales of a mermaid tail.

Dark Waters

Black sea nail art with skull charm

Another pirate look, but I love skulls.  I used a black polish that has blue glitter in it, with the +Bundle Monster water nail stamp from the Sun Kissed Collection, and a gold metal skull charm.  It is simple, but somewhat sinister and dark.  I love it!

Enchantment Under The Sea

Ocean nail art

Back to the Future reference :)  On a side note, I always wished we'd had an under the sea dance when I was in high school because decorations would have been so cool, but it never made the vote.  For my nails, I created this enchanting under the sea look with +Bundle Monster stamping plates.

Dip Into Dots

Gradient dot nail art

Proenza Schouler clutch
This look is inspired by the Proenza Schouler clutch.  I love the color gradient and studs, so I decided to recreate the look on my nails.

Mine is a bit brighter since my "darker" green wasn't that dark.  This is also the first time I've attempted a gradient with more than two colors, so the gradient didn't turn out as smooth as I would have liked.  I'll have to practice with this a little more.  Here, I used four colors to create the green/blue gradient with blue studs.

My Little Pony

My Little Pony Nail Art

When I was little, I loved My Little Pony.  I've seen some cute My Little Pony nails online, so I decided to give it a try.  I painted the unicorn pony, Rarity.  She uses her magic to find gems, and has little gem symbols on her body, so the ring finger has a mix of different gems to represent this.

Streets of Gold

Gold graffiti nail art

Right now I'm obsessed with the song, "Streets of Gold," by +Max Schneider, so I decided to dedicate today's mani to the song.  In the music video, there are a lot of walls with graffiti and of course, streets of gold, while everything else is in black and white.  So, I did a gold mani with some brick stamping to look like the brick walls, with the song title in graffiti (my graffiti lettering is not that great...I guess I won't be tagging in the future).

Bad Romance

Love nail stamping nail art

"Rah-rah-ah-ah-ah-ah!  Rama-ramama-ah.  GaGa-ooh-la-la!  Want your bad romance!"  :)  When thinking of my post title, Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" is what popped into my head first with the +Bundle Monster love themed stamping, and the muddled dark red background.

Pink Grapefruit Perrier

Pink Grapefruit Perrier Nail Art

I was inspired by a can of Pink Grapefruit Perrier for this mani.  I used the green of the can for the base color, added orange and white dots like a bubbles, and a citrus slice from a +Bundle Monster fimo cane.

Chanel Chic

Chanel Nail Art

I know I just used "Chic" two posts ago, but really...how else can you describe Chanel.  Plus it sounds nice together.  When I think of Chanel, I always think of their classic black and white purses, so I wanted to emulate that look here.  I mixed black and white with some gold detailing and a tweed pattern that is sophisticated and classy like the brand.

Pixie Pink

Pink nail art with iridescent studs

There are so many things to do with rhinestone studs.  I decided to keep this look a little simple to highlight the studs.  The light pink polish compliments the studs well, which have a magical iridescent quality that makes me think of fairies and mermaids.

Black Beach Chic

Black Beach Nail Art

Earlier this year, my family rented a house in Dillon Beach, CA for a weekend vacation.  I wanted to do a beach themed nail, but not overly tropical since that's not how northern California beaches are.  I chose a black and gold look - gold to represent the sand, and black to add a cool, chic quality to it.

A Pirate's Life For Me

Pirates of the Caribbean nail art

One of my favorite rides at Disneyland is the Pirates of the Caribbean.  I'm also a fan of the movies.  The idea for this mani came from a bag of fake jewels and coins I have from Disney.
