Fall Fashion

Fall is here...in spirit anyway. It has still been pretty hot in California and I'm ready for sweater weather, leggings, hot cocoa, and snuggling up under a blanket.

Pretty Pumpkins

I've been in love with these pumpkin nails that Danni (@nailsbydannimoore) does, so I decided to add some on top of the lacquer strips I was wearing.

Minimalistic Madam

Easy, peasy, glam and breezy. A deep red is always glamorous, but a plain accent nail gives this mani and simplistic sophistication.

Oh Crepe

A neutral polish is standard for every fall collection, and this one does not disappoint. Oh Crepe is a steamy grey creme from the Caution: Extremely Hot collection by Artistic Nail Design. The color reminds me of stones or that cloudy fall weather.

Fall Favorites

Pumpkin Spice Lattes are out, and I really want one! These nails are a nod to that PSL obsession out there, and everything fall.

Golden Leaves

The leaves are starting to turn yellow as we get into fall. For me, that signals apple cider, hot chocolate, and all those yummy hot drinks you only get to drink when its cold out.

Friday Flannel

Mixing wraps with regular polished nails is a great way to personalize the look. The wraps make good accent nails, or you can make the polished nail the accent nail as I did here.

We had some rain the other day! I'm not a huge fan of rain...it makes my hair frizzy. But I love rain boots, and snuggling up in a blanket on a cold rainy day with a good book.

Fall Flattery

Happy Turkey Day everyone!  Hope you are all having a nice Thanksgiving.  I'm trying to get the last few fall looks in before I start my holiday nails, so here is a nice fall colored mani perfect for today.

Plaid Clad

I love plaid in the fall.  Plaid shirts, plaid scarves, and of course plaid nails!  I've done plaid stamped nails before, but I decided to do some hand-painted ones this time.

Burgundy and Bows

I have a love/hate relationship with fall.  I love boots and hot chocolate, but I hate rain and being cold.  I also love fall colors.  As someone whose wardrobe doesn't stray much from black, grey, and navy blue, adding some burgundy to the mix is nice.

The Quick Brown Fox

Playing around with the new +Bundle Monster nail plates again!  I'm in love with this wood grain and definitely need to buy more brown nail polishes so I can try different looks!  Fox nails have been on my to-do list for a while, and since it was a challenge for #31Nails2014, I decided now was the perfect time.

Neutral Nocturnal

Owls are one of the coolest birds of prey in my opinion.  They have amazing hearing and night vision, and can turn their heads almost completely around.  I did a neutral look with this mani for fall, and to match the owl colorings.
