I was inspired by this Blood Vampire ring by Rogue + Wolf, to do something vampy.
I received this metallic mirror gold polish from URSugar Nail Store in exchange for an honest review. I chose the gold, but it also comes in pink, purple, blue, and silver. The bottle is only 6ml, so it is a mini polish, but I like it. Since it is a mirror effect polish, it is a very shiny metallic. However, mirror polishes do take some practice to apply since you can't overlap the polish when it is wet, otherwise it recedes. This can also make it difficult to get a smooth finish. I'll definitely have to try this one again, but using it for a gradient was a breeze.
Polish Used:
- Madam Glam - Red Black
- NCLA - Camila Vargas
- URSugar - metallic mirror gold
- Base and top coats
Other Supplies:
- Makeup sponge
The makeup sponge does take away some of the "mirror" effect of the gold polish, but it is still pretty metallic and shiny. To create this look:
- Apply the base color with metallic mirror gold polish.
- Use a makeup sponge to create a gradient with the darkest red just at the base of the nail.
