This first polish I'm trying out is Grease Monkey. It is a smokey grey creme, and I'm always a sucker for a grey polish. Half my closet is probably filled with grey shirts. Plus I feel like grey is the perfect nail color for the office...it is neutral enough to meet "appropriate" attire standards, and it is edgy enough to stand out in the world of pinks. This polish is always amazing. Because it has such a high pigment volume, it only takes two coats for full coverage. The polish goes on smooth and easy, and the brush offers precise application.

- Silver nail tape in 3mm, 2mm, and 1mm.
- Scissors/clippers
- Tweezers
For today's look, I decided to keep going with the automotive theme, so I added some chrome over these grey nails. To create this look:
- .
- Apply the base color using Grease Monkey.
- Add a strip of 3mm silver nail tape across the middle of each nail. Use tweezers to place the tape, and then use clippers or scissors to trim the excess.
- Add a strip of 2mm silver nail tape above (towards the base of the nail) the larger tape, on each nail.
- For the middle, ring, and thumb, add an additional 1mm strip of silver nail tape above the 2mm tape.
