Cosmic Cat Eye

Cat eye nails have been another design on my never-ending to-do list, but I never had the magnet.

So, I'm so happy URSugar Nail sent me this magnet slice to review, so I could finally do cat eye nails! The magnet is a little over an inch, so it works on long nails, and is easy to handle. The magnet is super strong, so you can see the cat eye effect right away when you hold it over the magnetic polish. I'll definitely be using this baby again for more designs.

Polish Used:

• Sinful Colors - Polar Opposites
• Base and top coats

Other Supplies:

• Magnet slice

Now that I have this handy magnet, I need to try the cat eye design with stamping. To create this look:

1. Apply a base color with the magnetic polish.
2. Working one nail at a time, after applying the second layer of magnetic polish, hold the magnet over the nail in a diagonal pattern. If you use magnetic polish versus gel, you'll have to hold the magnet over the nail while it drys a little, or the line will spread a little.
