One of my favorite rides at Disneyland is the Pirates of the Caribbean. I'm also a fan of the movies. The idea for this mani came from a bag of fake jewels and coins I have from Disney.
- Bundle Monster - Liquid Gold
- Sinful Colors - Ruby Ruby
- Revlon Dark Pleasures - Talk Dirty
- Wet n Wild - Black Crème
- Wet n Wild - French White Crème
- 3mm round gold metal studs
- Various crystals of different shapes (triangle, square, rectangle, round, and teardrop)
- Gold caviar beads
- Bundle Monster stamping plate BM01
- Rubber stamper
- Nail art brush
- Base and top coats
This look uses some freehand painting, stamping, and jewel platcement. To create this look:
- Apply the base colors - thumb and ring in Liquid Gold, index in Ruby Ruby, and middle and pinky in Black Crème.
- Index: Using a nail art brush and black polish, paint a ragged Jolly Roger flag. Next, paint the skull and crossbones with white polish. Finally, add eyes and a nose to the skull.
- Middle: Paint a gold circle. Using a nail art brush and Talk Dirty, paint the details of the gold coin. Lastly, paint the pointy edges of the coin with Liquid Gold.
- Ring: Apply enough gold studs, crystals, and beads to cover the entire nail. Seal everything on with top coat.
- Thumb: Paint "Yo Ho Yo Ho" with black polish.
- Pinky: Stamp BM01 (the Anglo-Saxon cross design) with Liquid Gold.
Accessorize with some pirate rings, and you're done. :)
