I know I just used "Chic" two posts ago, but really...how else can you describe Chanel. Plus it sounds nice together. When I think of Chanel, I always think of their classic black and white purses, so I wanted to emulate that look here. I mixed black and white with some gold detailing and a tweed pattern that is sophisticated and classy like the brand.
- Wet n Wild - Black Crème
- Wet n Wild - French White Crème
- Orly - Luxe
- Chanel metal gold confetti
- Round white studs (two 2mm, and two 3mm)
- Nail art brush
- Base and top coats
This is a really easy mani to paint. The only "art" painting is the tweed pattern, and that is just short lines. To create this look:
- Apply a black base color to all nails.
- To create the tweed pattern, start with white polish and a nail art brush (a toothpick can be used as well). Paint short vertical lines, and then cross each one with a short horizontal line.
- Repeat the process with gold polish in between the white markings made in the previous step.
- Apply the Chanel confetti to the middle of the index finger, with two 2mm white rounds studs on the top and bottom.
- Add a 3mm white round stud to the base of the pinky and thumb.
Where did you get the tiger ring? It's magnificent!
ReplyDeleteI got it from Charming Charlie. I think it was $10.
