Ice Cream Treats

Ice Cream Nail Art

As promised, this is the 7th design in my week of stamping fun with the +Bundle Monster Sun Kissed Collection.  Summer is not complete without some ice cream!  And I love this ice cream stamp design!  Since there is so much going on with the stamped image, I just kept it simple with the same thing stamped on all nails, with everything the same color.

I chose pink and brown because when I decided to use the little resin cabochon, I thought it was brown with a pink heart.  That's what happens when I pick nail colors and designs at night with poor lighting.  Now in the day, I see that the heart is in fact orange, so I should have done orange and brown to match.  But it still looks nice.

Nail Polish

Polish Used:
  • Sally Hansen Triple Shine - Pixie Slicks
  • Revlon Dark Pleasures - Talk Dirty
Other Supplies:
  • Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-507 (ice cream background)
  • Rubber stamper
  • Ice cream resin cabochon
  • Krazy Glue
  • Base and top coats

This is another simple stamping mani.  With just basic stamping and gluing of the cabochon, this was a really fast look to create.  Here's how:
  1. Apply a pink base color.  Pixie Slicks is a fun bright pink that is perfect for these delicious treats.  I also picked it because I thought it matched the heart on the cabochon...bad lighting = minor color blindness.

  2. Use Talk Dirty to stamp the ice cream design (BM-507) on all nails except the ring finger.

  3. Glue the ice cream cabochon on the ring finger.
