Emerald Expression

Emerald Expression Nails

Sometimes manis don't go as planned, but they still work out. This is one of those.

The green glitter polish is actually a magnetic polish, but for the life of me, I could not get the magnetic effect to appear on my nails. It worked just fine on a piece of paper, so I think it may have to do with the base polish. But in any case, it is still a great polish for regular full coverage.

I received this geometric stamping plate from Born Pretty Store in exchange for an honest review. It has a lot of different lines and stripes, which is great when you want to skip the nail tape. Plus, some of the lines have patterns! There are also full coverage geometric line designs as well. Using a clear jelly stamper is the best for lining everything up. And when scraping off the excess polish from the plate, it is best to swipe down the length of the line.

Polish Used:
  • F.U.N. Lacquer - Gorgeous
  • Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Black To Black
  • Born Pretty Store - white stamping polish
  • Base and top coats
Other Supplies:
  • Nicole Diary stamping plate - L04 (#46229)
  • Clear stamper

Since this doesn't use the magnetic quality of the polish, you can skip the black base color. But, it does help the glitter polish really pop. To create this look:
  1. Apply a black base color.
  2. Apply three coats of Gorgeous.
    Green Multichrome Glitter Polish
  3. Use white stamping polish to add a tiger striped line down the center of each nail.
