Silver chrome nails always make me think of the T-1000 terminator from Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
I received this silver chrome powder from Born Pretty Store in exchange for an honest review. The chrome powder comes in FIFTEEN different colors in 9 gram pots, and the applicator is included. This review is of color #10, which is one of two silvers. I have tried other silver chrome powders and polishes, and this is by far the chrome-iest. The mirror finish is so reflective and shiny, it was difficult to get a good photo without some sort of reflection of my camera/hand/etc. The powder has great coverage and a little goes a long way. And most importantly, it keeps its shine after the application of gel top coat.

Polish Used:
- Sally Hansen Insta-Dri- Black To Black
- Base and top coats
- Gel top coat
Other Supplies:
- Silver chrome powder (#46283)
- Sponge applicator
I was debating whether to add some nail art over the chrome, but the chrome looks so great by itself, so I left it alone. To create this look:
- Apply a black base color.
- Apply a layer of no-wipe gel top coat, and cure. You want the surface to be as smooth as possible because any imperfections are going to show with the chrome.
- Use the sponge applicator to rub the chrome powder on each nail, and dust off any extra powder particles.
- Seal with gel top coat.
Here's a shot in the sunlight. So shiny!!!
