Valentine's Day is next weekend! Heart manis never get old, and are perfect for all of February.
I received this thermal polish from Born Pretty Store in exchange for an honest review. It was actually a fun surprise because I thought it was just a regular polish when I got it in the mail. The polish changes from orange when warm, to red when cold. I thought it was just a really thin polish when I applied the first coat since the polish in the bottle is red, but it was so transparent on my nail. Little did I know it was because it was a thermal polish, and the reason the red looked so light was because it was actually orange. After a few coats I figured it out - blowing on the wet polish to dry it, made it turn red. Ta-da! Mystery solved.
Overall the polish is great! I love the color, and the orange to red is a nice combo - noticeable, but still subtle. There is just enough glitter to the polish to be sparkly but not a full on glitter polish. The polish is also a peel off varnish. It stays on really well though, and is a nice feature to have if you don't have nail polish remover handy.

Thermal polish adds a nice dynamic to a simple stamped nail. If you have longer nails, it will also look like a gradient nail. To create this look:
- Apply the thermal base color. It will take a few coats to get the polish dark enough.
- Use black stamping polish to stamp a different heart on each nail from BM-S225.
I tried to get a few different shots to show the color changing effect.
