Bohemian Blue

Every time I see a dreamcatcher nail design, I want to do one, so I'm finally getting around to it.

I got these water decals from Born Pretty Store in exchange for an honest review.  They remind me of those friendship bracelets you make out of thread.  Did you ever make those?  I did, and everyone wore them growing up.  They kind of have a bohemian, festival, Coachella kind of vibe, so I paired them with a pale blue polish and a hand-painted dreamcatcher.

Polish Used:
  • Essie - Parka Perfect
  • It's So Easy Stripe Rite - white
  • Base and top coats
Other Supplies:

I haven't used striping polish a lot (the polish bottles with striping brush...they may have a technical name, but I don't know it), but they are pretty awesome.  I need to get the hang of the control, but it is nice to have a brush that goes directly in the polish...it is easier to paint longer lines.  To create this look:
  1. Apply the base color with Parka Perfect by Essie.
  2. Add water decals down the center of the index and ring finger.
  3. Use white striping polish to paint a dreamcatcher on the middle finger and a white stripe down the center of the pinky.
