Not only do I love this polish color, but I love the name...Gracie. :)
My parent's dog's name is Gracie, and she is a rescued shelter dog. She was at the shelter for over a year because she is a special needs dog, and came with a lot of medical bills. My mom first fostered Gracie through the shelter's foster program. But when the shelter was considering euthanasia, we couldn't let that happen, so now she's part of the family.
There are so many dogs out there with a story like Gracie's, and many more still waiting at the shelter. Nail & Bone is an amazing new nail polish company that is trying to change that. Nail & Bone is a socially conscious nail polish line that is cruelty free, 8-free, vegan, and aims to support pet rescue and adoption by donating 20% of proceeds to animal charities and rescue organizations.
Polish Used:
- Nail & Bone - Gracie
- Bundle Monster - Straight Up Black
- Base and top coats
- Acrylic paint - black and white
- Nail art brush
- Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-424 (paw prints)
- Stamper
- Rose and pearl charm
- Krazy Glue
The Nail & Bone polish bottles, are so cute! I had to do a design with the logo. To create this look:
- Apply the base color using Gracie.
- Use black and white acrylic paint and a nail art brush for the Nail & Bone logo.
- Paint the entire shape of the dog's head with black paint.
- Use white paint for the muzzle and eyes.
- Use black paint again for the nose, mouth, and heart eyes.
- Stamp paw prints with black polish on the index and pinky fingers.
- Glue a rose and pearl charm on the ring finger.
Every purchase can help save a shelter animal. So why not buy a bottle or two?
