Red gradients are always my favorite...so vampy and dark. And it is a nice twist on the traditional red nail.

Other Supplies:
- Makeup sponge
- Latex skin protector
When creating a red gradient, using a latex skin protector is really going to help shorten the cleanup time. Red polish really stains, so avoid getting it on your skin and cuticles as much as possible. To create this look:
- Apply the base color with the brightest red.
- Use a makeup sponge to create a dark red gradient. Darkest red at the base, with a mid-red in the middle, and the brightest red on the tips. Paint the colors on the makeup sponge, then dab on the nail to blend the colors.
