Cranberry Christmas

Cranberry Christmas Nails

Christmas is right around the corner, and these thermal cranberry nails are sure to add some magic to the festivities.

I received this holographic thermal top coat from Born Pretty Store in exchange for an honest review. The polish looks black in the bottle, but it just creates a darker color of whatever color polish is it applied over. When it is warm, it is almost translucent, but it still mutes the base color a bit. When it is cold, the color is really dark. Plus it has holographic glitter for a little bit of sparkle. For this design, I used it over red, but it can be used over any color.

Polish Used:
  • Morgan Taylor - Don't Break My Corazon
  • Born Pretty Store - Change In The Day
  • Base and top coats
Other Supplies:
  • Gold Christmas nail stickers
  • Tweezers

I bought these nail stickers after Christmas last year, so I never got a chance to use them. I love nail stickers because they are so quick and easy to use, and the gold foil on these really add some shine. To create this look:
  1. Apply a bright red base color.

  2. Apply a layer of Change In The Day.

  3. Use tweezers to apply gold Christmas nail stickers to each nail.

Here's the warm version of the top coat. As you can see, it mutes the color a bit, so bright polish colors should be used as a base coat.
