Abstract Abloom

Abstract Nails

This mani was actually a mess up, but abstract art is very forgiving. I originally did some dry brushing, but it didn't turn out as planned so I added some smoosh art over it.

Polish Used:
  • Artistic Colour Revolution - A Muse Of My Own (light pink)
  • Artistic Colour Revolution - Picas-So-Pink (bright pink)
  • Artistic Colour Revolution - Don't Hate, Create! (green)
  • Artistic Colour Revolution - Gut Meets Gal-Lery (royal purple)
  • Base and top coats
Other Supplies:
  • Stamper

Smooshing the polish with a nail stamper creates a really easy abstract art design. To create this look:
  1. Apply the base color using Guy Meets Gal-Lery.
  2. Add a couple drops each of the light pink, dark pink, and green polish, on a silicone mat (or piece of wax paper or even regular paper). Dab and smoosh with a nail stamper to mix the colors, then stamp onto each nail. You can repeat the process until you get the desired effect.
