This is not one of my usual posts, but is something worth mentioning.
My best friend is hosting a virtual challenge for the month of November. Her younger brother passed away on November 16, 2018, after losing his battle with substance use disorder. Miles for Marc Virtual Challenge is an event in honor of his memory. It is a free event, with the goal of walking a mile in someone else's shoes.
My friend's goal is to have all participants walk/run/whatever a combined total of 1,989 miles to commemorate the year Marc was born.
