Not Your Sugar Mama

Happy Valentine's Day! Hope you are spending the day with your sweetheart, or doing something sweat for yourself.

I received the Sugar Free Spring 2021 collection by Artistic Nail Design, and it is a collection after my own heart. These candied-colored shades are perfect for this time of year.

Polish Used:

• Artistic Colour Revolution - Not Your Sugar Mama (medium pink frost)
• Artistic Colour Gloss - Tastelss (sheer off white crème)
• Base and top coats
• Matt top coat

Other Supplies:

• UV/LED lamp
• Hot pink nail tape
• Lollipop nail charm
• Krazy Glue

Applying a matte top coat over a shimmer polish makes it look just like sugar-coated candy. To create this look:

1. Apply the base color using Tasteless. I used two coats for a more opaque finish; curing in between coats. Apply no-wipe gel top coat and cure.
2. Working one nail at a time, apply a piece of nail tape across the nail, and paint the tip with Not Your Sugar Mama. Remove the tape.
3. Add a strip of hot pink nail tape across each nail to separate the two colors.
4. Apply a matte gel top coat and cure.
5. Glue a lollipop nail charm on the ring finger.
