For all my zombie loving friends out there, you know what today is...the return of The Walking Dead!!!! So of course I had to do some zombie nails. I still wanted to keep with my Valentine's theme, so I painted an anatomical heart, and added the words, "a zombie stole my heart." In real life (assuming zombies are real), it would be more accurate to state, "a zombie ate my heart," but that isn't very Valentine-y.
Polish Used:
- Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - White On
- Wet n Wild - Red Red
- Sinful Colors - Rich in Heart
- Base and top coats
- Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-416 (blood splatter)
- Rubber stamper
- Nail art brush
- Black metal stud
I used stamping plates for the blood spatter, then freehanded everything else. You can also leave the words off the design if you prefer. To create this look:
- Apply a white base color.
- Use Red Red to stamp the blood splatter (BM-416) on all the nails except the ring finger.
- Use Red Red and a nail art brush to paint an anatomical heart on the ring finger.
- Use Rich in Heart to add shadowing and vein details to the heart.
- Add a black metal stud to the base of the pinky.
