Owl Always Love You

I love owls, and I love this new owl stamping plate!  The owl I used in this mani has a heart shaped face, so I turned it into a Valentine's look with some hearts and a red and white color scheme.

I received this owl stamping plate from Born Pretty Store in exchange for an honest review.  I LOVE IT!!!!  As I said, I love owls, so I was super excited when I saw this owl themed stamping plate.  There are seven different owls, two cages, and two word designs on the plate.  One of the many things I love about this plate is that the owls are in different styles - simplistic, doodle, cartoon, and detailed.  So, there are a lot of different looks and vibes you can get out of this one plate.  The plate itself is of great quality and stamps well.  I can't wait to try all the owls!

• Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-620 (hearts)
• Rubber stamper
• Red studs

This design only requires basic stamping, so it is pretty fast and easy.  If you have small/short nails like I do, the hardest part will be stamping the owl to fit properly.  However, there is a way to cheat as mentioned below.  To create this look:

1. Apply a white base color.
   
2. Use Red Red to stamp the hearts (BM-620) on all nails except the middle finger.
   
3. Use Red Red to stamp the owl with the heart-shaped face on the middle finger.  Note: If your nails are small, getting this owl to line up right will be difficult since it takes up the entire nail.  A way around this is to create a decal (let the owl dry on the stamper, coat with top coat, peel off when dry).  You can then place the decal where you want it, as opposed to trying to line up the stamp.
   
4. The heart image did not cover my entire thumb, but I didn't want to stretch the image since the hearts would get elongated.  So to remedy the empty space, I added a line of red studs.
