Pineapple Plantation

Pineapple Nail Art

I don't know about you, but to me, pineapples represent the ultimate summer fruit.  It is so tropical and sweet, it practically screams summer.

Pineapple CharmI'm using the same stamping plate as yesterday's mani, but I added this cute gold pineapple charm.  I received the pineapple charm from Born Pretty Store in exchange for an honest review.  The 7mm charms come in a set of two.  The size is perfect because it looks great alone, but would also look nice with a few other stones or studs next to it.  The detail is amazing with the crosshatch pattern on the pineapple and the separation of the leaves on the stem.  This charm is so cute, it makes me want to eat or drink anything pineapple right now!

Nail Polish
Polish Used:
  • Sally Hansen Triple Shine - Kelp Out
  • Rimmel 60 Seconds Extreme - Mania
  • Cover Girl Outlast Stay Brilliant- Goldilocks
  • H&M - Sparkling Forest
  • Base and top coats
Other Supplies:

This is another pretty simple mani.  I wanted the pineapple to be the star, so I kept the other nails pretty plain.  To create this look:
  1. Apply the base colors - thumb in Mania, index in Goldilocks, middle and ring in Kelp Out, and pinky in Sparkling Forest.

  2. Use Mania to stamp the leaf pattern (BP-L015) on the middle and ring finger.  The leaf pattern reminded me of a pineapple if looking straight down at the stem.

  3. Glue a gold pineapple charm on the ring finger.
