It's a new year!!! The first day of the year requires an epic mani, and right now, nothing is bigger than Star Wars. This design is created using the Outer Space Cadet stamping plate by +Bundle Monster.
Polish Used:
- Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Black to Black
- Wet n Wild Fergie - Heels of Steel
- Bundle Monster Stamping Lacquer - Iced Silver
- Wet n Wild - French White Creme
- Bundle Monster - Wave Lengths
- Wet n Wild Fergie - Rock n' Roll
- Base and top coats
- Bundle Monster stamping plate - Time Machine BM-XL134 (outer space cadet)
- Rubber stamper
- Clear and red rhinestones
This Bundle Monster stamping plate has a lot of great designs on it. Along with the Star Wars designs, there is some Star Trek, aliens, planets, laser guns, and more. To create this look:
- Apply a black base color.
- Use Heels of Steel to stamp the geometric triangle pattern on the index, ring finger, and pinky.
- Use silver stamping polish to stamp the TIE fighter on the index, ring finger, and pinky.
- Color in R2-D2 using the reverse stamping method - stamp the image with a metallic blue polish, then fill in with silver and white. Apply the finished design to the middle finger.
- Add a red rhinestone to R2-D2, and a clear rhinestone to the other nails. If you want to fill in any of the shapes on R2-D2's body, use a nail art brush with some of the blue polish. I filled in the long rectangle on the top of his body.
- Add a coat of Rock n' Roll to the thumb. It is a nice glittery black polish with some holo glitter that is perfect for stars.
How fun! I need to get a more steady hand to try it out.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Stamping is pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
