I'm having a lot of fun with these black and negative space nails. They are so clean and glamorous.
I received this holographic nail glitter from URSugar Nail in exchange for an honest review. There are 12 different colors of holographic glitter to choose from, and they come in little 1.5 gram pots with an application sponge. I chose one of the silver glitters, and it is soooo sparkly. Loose glitter is going to have a lot better coverage than glitter polish, so if you want a lot of glitter, I suggest using a glitter pot. With more glitter also comes more thickness, so just be aware that applying a lot of glitter can make your mani a little thick, but if you cover it in top coat, it will be fine. The glitter actually sticks pretty well without top coat, but the texture will be rough.
Polish Used:
- Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Black to Black
- Forever 21 - Metallic Silver
- Base and top coats
Other Supplies:
- Nail tape or vinyls
- Holographic nail glitter (color 4)
- Nail art fan brush
If you don't have nail tape or vinyls, any kind of tape will work...scotch tape, masking tape, painter's tape, etc. To create this look:
- Working one nail at a time, apply a piece of nail tape that stretches diagonally across the nail, from the side of the base, to across the tip.
- Repeat this process with a shorter diagonal in the opposite direction across the tip. While the polish is still wet, dip it in the glitter nail pot. Use a nail art fan brush to dust off the excess.
