There's only one more week until Christmas!!! Time to get those red and green manis done before it is too late.
I'm on to the last polish in the Hallewood Holiday Collection by Nail & Bone. Each polish in the set is named after one of Halle Berry's beloved pets. Bumper is a clear polish with red and pink confetti. Since it is clear, this can go over any color to add a little party to the polish. Like all confetti polishes, using the brush will apply the confetti sparingly. If you want more, using a makeup sponge will help cut down on the number of coats needed.
Polish Used:
- Nail & Bone - Bumper
- Wet n Wild - French White Creme
- Ulta - Envy
- China Glaze - Pine-Ing For Glitter
- Base and top coats
Other Supplies:
- Green nail tape
- Green heart rhinestons
- Four green round rhinestones
- Nail art brush
I always like to do an animal theme for the Nail & Bone polishes, so I added a rhinestone paw print to this design. To create this look:
- Apply the base colors - pinky and thumb in dark green, the rest in white.
- Apply a couple coats of Bumper to the index and middle fingers.
- Apply dark green glitter polish on the pinky and thumb.
- Use a nail art brush to paint a red spiral on the ring finger. Start with dot in the middle of the finger, and paint curved lines radiating out. In the end, there should be five red sections, and five white ones.
- Apply two stripes of green nail tape to the index and middle fingers - diagonal lines on the index, and across the tip on the middle.
- Use rhinestones to create a green paw print on the ring finger. Use a upside-down heart for the paw print pad, and four round rhinestones for the toes.
