The candy cane striped look doesn't always have to be in red and white. This design works with any holiday color.
I'm continuing my way through the Little Miss Nutcracker Holiday 2017 Collection by Morgan Taylor that I received as part of the #PreenMeVIP program. Just Tutu Much is a glamour gold metallic, but like Dreaming of Gleaming, it has a little bit of shimmer. Metallics always have great coverage and this one is pretty chip proof.
Polish Used:
- Morgan Taylor - Just Tutu Much
- Ulta - Envy
- Base and top coats
Other Supplies:
- 2mm and 1mm nail tape
Even though it may look complicated, this design is pretty quick. If you are confident with your line painting ability, your could freehand this. Bit I like to use nail tape for even, symmetrical lines. To create this look:
- Apply the base color with Just Tutu Much.
- Working one nail at a time, alternate 2mm and 1 mm nail tape to create diagonal stripes across the nail. Paint over the tape with dark green polish, and immediately remove the tape.
