Applying embellishments can be tricky. You can go the quick and easy route, and just Krazy Glue them on. If you have fresh glue, this holds pretty well. For more long-term wear, sealing everything on with a layer or two of gel top coat can cure it all in place. To create this look:
- Apply a dark purple on the thumb, ring finger, and pinky.
- Apply a layer of top coat, then add copper nail foil to the index and middle fingers. The foil is going to be the outer edge of the geode, so keep that in mind for spacing, and apply it in a curved line.
- On the geode nails, paint white from the foil to the tips.
- Use a makeup sponge to create a white to purple gradient for the geodes. Since this doesn't have to be a super smooth gradient, you should use a light purple in between the white and the dark purple. Dab a little purple glitter polish on the tips and clear iridescent polish over everything to add a little of that gemstone sparkle.
- Use a nail art brush to paint dark purple lines along the border of the white and the foil. These lines should not be perfect.
- Add a short metal bar to the pinky, and a long metal bar to the ring finger with a jewel at the end.
