If you are like me, you always have some leftover nail wraps (or pieces or wraps) that you don't know what to do with. If it's not enough for a whole nail, you can always use pieces to add some accent designs.
I used the leftover lacquer strips from my Leopard Chase mani. Extra bit of info...the strips say to used them within 2 weeks after opening, but I sealed my extras in a ziplock bag, and 7 weeks later, they still work! They are a little stiffer, but they still stay on.
I paired the strips with Don't Forget The Funk, the blackest purple creme, from the Disco Nights, Festive Lights Holiday 2019 collection by Artistic Nail Design.
Polish Used:
- Artistic Colour Gloss - Don't Forget The Funk
- Base and top coats
Other Supplies:
- Jamberry lacquer strips - Leopard Chase
- Rose gold nail tape
- Nail clippers or scissors (to cut the tape)
Since these lacquer strips are semi transparent, the leopard print doesn't show through as strongly over the dark color, but it still adds a little something extra. To create this look:
- Apply a purple base color.
- Apply leopard print lacquer strips (or nail wraps) diagonally across the tips of each nail, and file off the excess.
- Add rose gold nail tape along the diagonal edge of the lacquer strips.
Lovely deep purple and gorgeous mani :-D
