High Standards

“Keep your heels, head and standards high.” – Coco Chanel. With a name like High Standards, I kept this design clean and classic, with a nude and red color combo and rose gold accents.

I love dark red polishes, and this is another great one by Madam Glam. High Standards isn’t as dark as Red Black from my last post, but it is still on the darker end of the spectrum. It reminds me of red roses with that deep velvety red, that is a tiny bit brighter in the light. Again, this polish has great coverage and is chip free. It definitely lives up to its name. • Base and top coats

Other Supplies:

• Rose gold nail tape

This is another simple geometric design, but the contrast of the nude with the dark red makes a statement. To create this look:

1. Apply a nude base color.
   
2. Working one nail at a time, apply nail tape across the middle of the nail. Leave the base nude, and paint the other half with High Standards. Then remove the tape.
   
3. Add rose gold nail tape across each nail to separate the colors.
