Red Black

Love this Red Black polish by Madame Glam. It feels so vampy, I had to go with a faux claw look.

Red Black is exactly what this color is. I LOVE it! I'm always a sucker for black polish, so this deep red immediately caught my eye. It is so dark that it just has a hint of red. I've tried a few different burgundy polishes, but they have been very thin and required a lot of coats to get this beautiful dark color. This polish, however, has amazing coverage. I also like that it is technically red, and therefore work appropriate. :) Use coupon code LAWYERED for a special discount.

Polish Used:
  • Madam Glam – Red Black
  • Sally Hansen Insta-Dri – Slick Slate
  • Base and top coats
Other Supplies:
  • Nail tape
  • Gold triangle studs

This year, the nail art trend is minimal geometric patterns. I still love the crazy prints and details, but this simplistic look is great with neutral colors like this. To create this look:
  1. Apply the base color using Slick Slate.

  2. Working one nail at a time, use nail tape to section off a triangle. The point of the triangle should be at the tip of your nail, and the base of the triangle as wide as the base of your nail. Fill in the triangle with Red Black and remove the tape.

  3. Add a gold triangle to the base of each nail.
