While Jack is black and white, Sally is a patchwork of color - which also matches each of their personalities in a way.
Yesterday, I posted a Jack mani, so today we have his other half.
Polish Used:
- Icing - Marine Blue
- Sally Hansen Miracle Gel - Prince Charm-mint
- Nail & Bone - Cher
- Artistic Colour Revolution - Sun's Out, Buns Out
- Wet n Wild - French White Creme
- Base and top coats
- Matte top coat
Other Supplies:
- Acrylic paint - red and black
- Nail art brush
This is another freehand mani. Sally isn't as clean as I would have liked, but I painted her with my non-dominant hand. There are stamping plates by MoYou London that have the patchwork pattern, but I don't have them so I just freehanded everything. Patches don't have to be perfect. :) To create this look:
- Apply the base colors - middle in teal, the rest in white.
- Paint Sally's head on the middle finger.
- Use aqua polish to paint her head and neck
- Paint white eyes.
- Paint red hair and red lips.
- Use black to add all the outlining and details.
- Paint patches of yellow, pink, and teal on each nail.
- Use black paint to add the stitching and some black patches.
- Then use black paint to add the stripes, dots, and various patterns to each nail.
- Apply a layer of clear top coat to even out the paint, then add a layer of matte top coat.
