Glow Get It!

Choice waves and neon rays, this mani is ready for a day at the beach.

Glow Get It! is a bright coral creme from the So Fly 2019 Summery Collection from Artistic Nail Design. One of the things I love about these polishes is that they have a satin finish. I decided to keep that look by adding a matte top coat over the design.

The waves on the mani are from the Chinese Style stamping plate I received from Born Pretty Store in exchange for an honest review. This plate has a lot of landscape scenery stamping with the layered stamping images (i.e., images that are meant to be stamped on top of each other). The engraving on these plates isn't as deep as other plates, so the stamping is a little light since less polish is getting applied. It was a little difficult stamping the wave, because most of the polish would get swiped away. Over a lighter color, this could be a cool effect since it makes the wave look more like water, but it is not good over bright colors.

  • Artistic Colour Revolution - Glow Get It!
  • Born Pretty Store - teal stamping polish
  • Born Pretty Store - white stamping polish

  • Matte top coat

Other Supplies:

  • Born Pretty stamping plate - Chinese Style L003 (#45508)
  • Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-XL211 (swirls)

A clear jelly stamper is a must for the layered stamping. That way, you can line up the images more easily. To create this look:
  1. Apply the base color using Glow Get It!
    Coral Nails
  2. Use a teal stamping polish to stamp the wave over the middle finger.

  3. Use white stamping polish to add the foam pattern to the wave.

  4. Stamp some abstract waves on the ring finger - first in teal, then in white, lining up the images as best as you can.
  5. Apply a matte top coat.
