You'll be looking "So Fly" with the new summer collection by Artistic Nail Design.
This collection has six bold neon colors that are bringing the heat. The polishes are a little sheer, so it takes a few coats to build up the opacity. But, this lends to the ability to layer the various colors.
Ultra-Violet Rays is a purple neon creme. The color is a bit brighter in the bottle and when wet, but it dries a few shades darker. Just something to keep in mind when planning your mani.
Polish Used:
- Artistic Colour Revolution - Ultra-Violet Rays (purple)
- Artistic Colour Revolution - Glow Get It (coral)
- Artistic Colour Revolution - Glow Big Or Go Home (pink)
- Artistic Colour Revolution - Don't Be Shady (fuchsia)
- Artistic Colour Revolution - Aqua Attitude (teal)
- Artistic Colour Revolution - Shaded Not Jaded (green)
- Base and top coats
Other Supplies:
- Silicone mat
- Scissors
- Nail art brush
Drip marble looks amazing, but it does take time to dry, so plan ahead. To create this look:
- Apply the base color using Ultra-Violet Rays.
- Add drops of all the colors on a silicone mat, and tilt and rotate the mat until the desired swirl/marble effect is achieved. Then, let the polish dry on the mat. It will need to be dry enough to peel away from the mat completely.
- Cut the drip marble polish into sections for each nail. Then, apply a layer of top coat, and place the drip marble on the nail. Cut the excess with scissors, then "melt" the edges with a nail art brush dipped in acetone. As always, seal on with top coat.
