Vicious Valentine

Happy Valentine's Day! This is my first post of 2022, and it has been awhile since the last. It has been a crazy year.

Glare If You Dare is a maroon pearl from The Big Bang, Holiday Winter 2021 Collection from Artistic Nail Design. 

Polish Used:

• Artistic Colour Gloss - Glare If You Dare
• No-wipe gel top coat

Other Supplies:

• Gold chrome powder
• Nail vinyls
• Gold triangle nail studs
• UV/LED lamp

The gold chrome claws are pretty fierce for a Valentine mani, but not every Valentine mani has to be sweet. To create this look:

1. Apply the base color using Glare If You Dare.
2. Apply a layer of no-wipe gel top coat and cure.
3. Working one nail at a time, use nail vinyls to create a triangle, or "claw" if you will, down the center of the nail.
4. Apply gold chrome powder and remove the vinyls.
5. Apply another layer of gel top coat, but do not cure.
6. While the gel is still wet, add a gold triangle stud to the base of the nail, and then cure.
7. Apply another layer of gel top coat to really secure the stud, and cure.
