Green Goblin

Green Goblin Nail Art

Day 17 of the #BundleMonster #MonsterScream challenge is "goblin."  I couldn't find any goblin-like stamped designs on my +Bundle Monster nail plates, but the Green Goblin from Spider-Man likes to throw explosive pumpkins.  I used the jack-o-lantern design from a stamping plate, then freehanded the Green Goblin's face.

Nail Polish
Polish Used:
  • Ulta - Envy
  • Sinful Colors - Cauldron Couture
  • Sally Hansen Triple Shine - Kelp Out
  • Sally Hansen Triple Shine - Vanity Flare
  • Sinful Colors - Let's Talk
  • Ulta - Sun-Sational
  • Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - White On
Other Supplies:
  • Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-222 (jack-o-lantern)
  • Nail art brush
  • Base and top coats

This is an advanced design considering the detail of the freehand painting.  To create this look:
  1. Apply the base colors - orange on middle, and Envy on the rest.

  2. Use a nail art brush and Kelp Out to paint the outline of the Green Goblin's face.

  3. Paint the outline of his hat with purple polish.

  4. Use Envy to add shadows and outlines.  Mixing some polish with clear top coat will make a sheer polish for the lighter shadows.
    Add Sahdows to the Face
  5. Add shadows to the hat with a darker purple.

  6. Use yellow polish to paint his eye, and some highlights.

  7. Paint his teeth with some white polish, and add a black pupil.

  8. Paint Cauldron Couture on all green nails.

  9. Stamp the jack-o-lantern (BM-222) on the index and ring fingers using orange polish.
