Haunted House

Haunted House Nail Art

Day 5 of the #BundleMonster #MonsterScream challenge is "haunted house."  I created a sillohette look with a green and black gradient nail.  This design incorporates some stamping and freehand painting.

I hate haunted houses.  There are always people waiting in dark corners to jump out at you, plus I hate being in the dark to begin with.  Being scared is not the type of adrenaline rush I need in my life.  I just stick to watching scary movies.

Nail Polish
Polish Used:
  • Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Green With Envy
  • Wet n Wild - Black Creme
  • Kleancolor - Holo Green
Other Supplies:
  • Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-213 (bats)
  • Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-224 (house)
  • Rubber stamper
  • Nail art brush
  • Base and top coats

This is a fairly easy design to create.  The only freehand painting are the trees, and those don't have to be perfect.  Scary trees are always kind of broken and hagard looking to begin with.  To create this look:
  1. Apply a base color in Green With Envy.

  2. Useing the wet makeup sponge method, create a black/green gradient on the tips.

  3. Add Holo Green to the base of the nails on the green part.
    Green Glitter
  4. Stamp the haunted house (BM-224) on the middle finger, and the bats (BM-213) on the ring finger, both with black polish.

  5. Use a nail art brush and black polish to paint a tree on the index and pinky fingers.
