Jack-O-Lanterns

Jack-O-Lantern Nail Art

Day 8 of the #BundleMonster #MonsterScream challenge is "jack-o-lantern."  I kept this one simple with a orange glitter base color and various jack-o-lanterns stamped in black.  Sometimes the traditional black and orange look is the best.

Carved Alice in Wonderland Pumpkins
One of my favorite things about Halloween is pumpkin carving.  I love Halloween decorations, and I take my pumpkin carving seriously.  I've started doing the 3D carving look, where you leave part of the pumpkin flesh to add levels of thickness to give a shadowed effect.  My sister gets hundreds (literally hundreds) of trick-or-treaters, so every year I carve pumpkins for her to put by her door.  Last year, she and her family dressed up in an Alice in Wonderland theme, so I carved pumpkins to match.  This year will be Peter Pan.

Nail Polish
Polish Used:
  • Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Glosstinis - Rogue Red
  • Bundle Monster Stamping Lacquer - Black Noir
Other Supplies:
  • Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-H06 (full face background and pumkin trio)
  • Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-222 (single pumpkin)
  • Bundle Mosnter stamping plate - BM-224 (pumpkin with vines)
  • Rubber stamper
  • Base and top coats
This is just some basic stamping.  To create this look:
  1. Apply the base color using Rogue Red. Despite the color name, this looks orange to me and has orange and gold glitter for a sparkly background.

  2. Stamp the various jack-o-lanterns on each nail using black polish.  Pumpkin with vines (BM-224) on index, full face background (BM-H06) on middle, pumpkin trio (BM-H06) on ring, and the single pumpkin (BM-222) on pinky.
