Peter's Pirate Ship

Peter Pan Nail Art

Day 29 of the #BundleMonster #MonsterScream challenge is "Pirates."  I was running low on time today so I just wanted to do something really quick.  I decided to do the ending scene from Peter Pan, when Tink makes Hook's pirate ship gold and they fly back to London during the night.

I was debating whether to even post this look since it is not really that impressive (at least to me), but there have been other designs I didn't think were post-worthy that I ended up posting anyway, and they turned out to be very popular.  Plus I haven' posted in a few days, so I figured I needed to post something.
Nail Polish
Polish Used:
  • Ulta - Moody Blues
  • Bundle Monster Stamping Lacquer - Liquid Gold
  • Maybelline Color Show Brocades - Gilded Rose
Other Supplies:
  • Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-H13 (ship)
  • Rubber stamper
  • Nail art brush
  • Base and top coats

This design is super fast and easy.  To create this look:
  1. Apply a blue base color.  Moody Blues is a dark blue, so the gold really pops against it.  Originally I used a lighter blue, but the gold stamping didn't stand out as much.

  2. Stamp the ship (BM-H13) on the index finger using Liquid Gold.

  3. Use a nail art brush and Gilded Rose to make a pixie dust trail over the remaining fingers.
