The Walking Dead

"Those who arrive survive."  Aka...follow this map that looks like a spider web and get trapped and eaten.  When the zombie apocalypse comes, I'm going Hon Solo.  If The Walking Dead has taught me anything, it is that living in large groups is bad news and never follow a map to a "sanctuary."

Season 5 of The Walking Dead starts tonight.  I can't wait to see how the group escapes Terminus.

Polish Used:

• Sally Hansen - White On
• Kleancolor - Fashionista
• Ulta - Limelight
• Wet n Wild - Black Crème
• Wet n Wild - Red Red
• Bundle Monster Stamping Lacquer - Angelic White

Other Supplies:

• Bundle Monster nail plate - BM-H08 (hands)
• Bundle Monster nail plate - BM-416 (blood splatter)
• Rubber stamper
• Nail art brush
• Makeup sponge
• Base and top coats

I wanted this design to be a little dirty and gritty like zombies.  To create this death defying look:

1. Apply the base colors - middle in black, everything else white.
   
2. Used white stamping polish to stamp the zombie hands (BM-H08) on the middle finger.
   
3. Use the leadlight technique to color the hands in, using sheer versions of Fashionista, followed by Limelight and Red Red.
   
4. Use a wet makeup sponge to dab Fashionista on the index, thumb, and pinky.  Apply the polish heavier on the pinky and thumb.  You just want the index finger to have a dirty quality, whereas the pinky is going to be zombie skin.
   
5. Create zombie skin on the pinky.
• Sponge on green polish.
  
• Use a nail art brush and Fashionista to paint some gashes and skin marks.
  
• Go over the marks with red polish and paint a blood trail.
  
6. Stamp the blood splatter design (BM-416) on the index finger using Red Red.
   
7. Use black polish and a nail art brush to paint "TERMINUS," a star, and the map lines on the ring finger.
