Vampire Bats

Vampire Bat Nail Art

Day 19 of the #BundleMonster #MonsterScream is "vampires."  I don't own any of the +Bundle Monster plates with vampire stuff on them, so I had to improvise.  I decided to do vampire bats.  These could be the actual species of vampire bats, or they could represent the bats Dracula turns into.

Nail Polish
Polish Used:
  • Sinful Colors - Ruby Ruby
  • Wet n Wild - Black Crème
  • Bundle Monster Stamping Lacquer - Black Noir
Other Supplies:
  • Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-H08 (full bats)
  • Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-213 (bat trio)
  • Rubber stamper
  • Makeup sponge
  • Base and top coats

This is a really quick mani to paint.  I decided to do a red and black gradient to look dark like night and blood.  With the black stamping over it, it looks like the bats are materializing out of the darkness.  To create this look:
  1. Apply a red base color.  Ruby Ruby by Sinful Colors is a bright red, but with dark undertones.

  2. Use a wet makeup sponge with black polish to create the gradient.

  3. Stamp the bats using black stamping polish.  Stamp the full bat design (BM-H08) on the middle finger, and stamp the bat trio (BM-213) on the rest of the nails.
