Candy Corn

Candy Corn Nail Art

Halloween is not complete without some candy corn!  I'm in love with the "Scary Cute" plate from the new Halloween + Thanksgiving Occasions Collection by +Bundle Monster.

Nail Polish
Polish Used:
  • Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Lightening
  • Bundle Monster Stamping Lacquer - Orange Peel
  • Wet n Wild - French White Creme
  • Bundle Monster Stamping Lacquer - Black Noir
  • Base and top coats
Other Supplies:
  • Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-S202 (candy corn)
  • Rubber stamper
  • Nail vinyls

If you don't want to deal with nail vinyls or striping tape, you can also freehand the sections of the candy corn.  Real candy corn doesn't always have straight lines.  To create this look:
  1. Apply the base colors - white on the middle and yellow on the rest.

  2. Use nail vinyls to section off the base of the yellow nails, and paint the rest orange and remove the tape.

  3. Once dry, use another nail vinyl to section off the tip and paint it white.  Remove the tape and now you have candy corn nails.  Ta-da!

  4. Use the reverse stamping method to color in the candy corn design (BM-S202).  Paint the bottom yellow, the middle orange, and the tip white.  And add a little pink for the tongue.

Hope you eat lots of candy corn tomorrow.  Nom nom nom.
