Halloween is all about witches, vampires, and werewolves. Had to go with werewolves for a polish called Howl You Doin.
This China Glaze polish is from the Monster Ball Collection...another Salon Supply Store polish. Howl You Doin is a deep purple polish with a few different purple glitters. It is semi-translucent, so you can see the layers of glitter through the layers of polish.
- China Glaze Monster Ball - Howl You Doin
- Wet n Wild - French White Creme
- Bundle Monster Stamping Lacquer - Black Noir
- Base and top coats
- Born Pretty Store stamping plate - BP-L011 (wolf)
- Rubber stamper
- Nail art brush
- Purple and black iridescent rhinestones
- Krazy Glue
I was torn between the big bad wolf stamp that I used, or I also have another stamping plate with a wolf howling. Although the howling wolf fits more with the polish name, it is a realistic wolf, and I like the big bad wolf for this Halloween nail. To create this look:
- Apply a base color with Howl You Doin.
- Use a nail art brush and white polish to paint a moon on the middle finger. Make the polish a little thin in some areas for the craters and shadows on the moon.
- Stamp the big bad wolf over the moon with black polish.
- Glue various purple and black iridescent rhinestones over the base of the ring finger.
