But of Corpse

But of Corpse Nails

It's my favorite season for nails...Halloween!!!  Since I'm using the China Glaze polish, But of Corpse, I decided to make the mani match the name with a beautiful skeleton corpse.

This amazing polish is from the China Glaze Apocalypse of Colour Collection. I got mine from Salon Supply Store.  If you haven't checked them out, they carry lots of beloved brands like CND, China Glaze, Essie, Gelish, OPI, Seche Vite and lots more, for great prices. The polish used in this design, But of Corpse, is a green and black micro glitter polish with a slightly textured matte finish.  There is so much glitter packed in this polish, it only takes a couple coats for full coverage.

Nail Polish
Polish Used:
  • China Glaze Apocalypse Lacquer - But of Corpse
  • Sally Hansen Insta-Dr - Black to Black
  • Bundle Monster Stamping Lacquer - Angelic White
  • Base coat
  • Matte top coat
Other Supplies:
  • Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-612 (skeleton lady)
  • Rubber stamper
  • Small black bow cabochon
  • Mix of studs of rhinestones in gunmetal, black, and green
  • Krazy Glue
  • Makeup sponge

I decided to keep this design in matte finish.  To create this look:
  1. Apply the base colors - middle and ring in black, the rest in But of Corpse.

  2. Use a makeup sponge to create a gradient on the ring finger using black polish and But of Corpse.  The sponge will give the black polish a matte textured finish to match the green.

  3. Stamp the skeleton lady (BM-612) with white polish on the middle finger, and apply a layer of matte top coat.

  4. Glue a small black bow cabochon on the pinky, and a mix of studs and rhinestones on the ring finger.  Try to find studs/rhinestones with matching colors - gunmetal, black, and green.

This polish is perfect for anyone's Halloween polish collection.
