The Incredible Hulk

The Incredible Hulk Nail Art

If you saw my Instagram post the other day, I just bought a bunch of new stamping plates from Aiyoohehe.  I picked a bunch of Marvel and Harry Potter themed stamping plates, and couldn't wait to try them out.  These are perfect for those who want comic book nails, but haven't mastered freehand painting, or just want to save time.

Nail Polish

Polish Used:
  • Wet n Wild - French White Crème
  • Bundle Monster Stamping Lacquer - Black Noir
  • Piggy Polish - Sub-Lime
  • Kleancolor - Chunky Holo Clover
  • Sally Hansen Crackle - Sage Smash
  • Bundle Monster Stamping Lacquer - Optical Illusion
  • Base and top coats
Other Supplies:
  • hēhē plate - Super Hero 003 (Hulk)
  • Rubber stamper
  • Nail art brush or dotting tool

Originally, I was going to paint my nails green, but decided to do a white background to look more like a comic book.  Using a green base color would eliminate the need to use reverse stamping to color in the images, but I think the white makes everything really pop.  To create this look:
  1. Paint a white base color.

  2. The pinky is triple stamped.  First the chromosomes are stamped in green, then the chemical compound is stamped in purple, and finally, the stars/bursts are stamped in black.

  3. Use the reverse stamping method to add the Hulk and the nuclear symbol.  The nuclear symbol will go on the index finger, off-center towards the tip.  The Hulk will be spread over the middle and the ring finger nails.

  4. Use a nail art brush to add some green glitter polish to the nuclear symbol.
  5. Add a layer of green glitter crackle polish to the thumb.
