Create a simplified gradient nail with blocked out sections of color. Since you don't have to worry about the smooth blending of colors, you can mix glitter, shimmer, and cream polishes.
I used another fun Essie polish from Salon Supply Store. The silver polish used in the middle section, Apres-Chic, is from the Winter Collection. It is a metallic silver with a lot of shimmer! I use silver a lot, so this polish will definitely be getting a lot of use. :)

- Essie - Apres-Chic
- Petites Color Fever - Vintage Gray
- Base and top coats
- Nail vinyls (or you can use striping tape)
- Silver nail tape
This looks is inspired by a design in the latest issue of Nail It! Magazine. They used different shades of pink, but I'm more of a grey girl. To create this look:
- Apply the base color with On a Silver Platter by Essie.
- Use a nail vinyl or nail tape to section off the base of the nail, and the paint the top portion of the nail with a shiny silver polish like Apres-Chic.
- Repeat this process, sectioning off the tip, and painting it grey.
- Add silver nail tape to divide all the sections.
I enjoyed your paint color. It was beautiful. Learn More
