Appetizing Asian

Sushi Nail Art

If you follow me, you know I always paint each hand differently. These Appetizing Asian nails are the other half of my Appetizing Aji nails.

Polish Used:
  • Artistic Colour Revolution - Wok & Roll Baby
  • Born Pretty Store stamping polish - black, white, dark pink
  • Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Pink Blink
  • NCLA Nudes - Volume II
  • Sinful Colors - Vacation Time
  • Base and top coats
Other Supplies:
  • Bundle Monster stamping plate - BM-XL103 (food)
  • Stamper
  • Gold foil
  • Dotting tool (for filling in the stamped images)

Spam musubi and the honey prawns are a couple of my favs from Aji (and I had this cute stamping plate to make this mani happen). To create this look:
  1. Apply the base colors - thumb in nude and the rest in Wok & Roll Baby.

  2. Add gold foil to each nail.

  3. Use the reverse stamping method for each of the food items.
    • Spam musubi - stamp the image in black, then fill in white for the rice, and a mauve for the spam.
    • Tobiko sushi - stamp the image in black, then fill in the fish eggs with a bright orange.
    • Shrimpies - stamp the image in a dark pink, then fill in the "fried" part with nude polish, and a light pink for the rest of the shrimp.
