Gilded Lattice

Gilded Lattice Nail Art

Here is the second look inspired by my latest Rocksbox delivery.  These gold Lattice Earrings by Matterial Fix were another fun and easy look to recreate.  At first I debated making these Easter-y with Easter colors, but opted for a clean white instead.

Don't forget to use coupon code lacqueredlawyerxoxo at Rocksbox to get your first month free.  Each box contains three handpicked designer pieces, with an average retail value of $200 of products in each box.

Nail Polish
Polish Used:
  • Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - White On
  • Base and top coats
Other Supplies:
  • Gold nail striping tape

As with yesterday's design, this is really fast and easy.  Initially, I was going to recreate the lattice design on each tip, but decided it would look too busy.  Instead, I only did it on the feature nail, and left the rest simple.  To create this look:
  1. Apply a white base color.

  2. Use gold striping tape to create an "X" on each nail.  This should be slightly more towards the tip as opposed to in the center of the nail.

  3. On the ring finger, add two more strips of nail tape to create a chevron.  It should leave equal amounts of space on each side.

  4. Use three vertical strips of tape to create the lattice.  The vertical pieces will go where the other tape crosses, so you'll be left with triangle cutouts.  You might be able to add five vertical stripes for the lattice if you have wide nails.  Mine are pretty narrow.
