Another Alice in Wonderland nail design! I just can't help myself. This is design is really simple since it uses water transfer decals and nail tape for the stripes. I kept the color scheme red, white, and black, like playing cards, but added a pop of blue like Alice's dress.
I received these Alice water transfer decals from Born Pretty Store in exchange for an honest review. There are three sets of decals - one Alice themed, one poker themed, and one bow/hat theme. These decals are fast and easy to apply, and I didn't have any issues with the decals wrinkling or creasing. One of the things I really like about these decals is that the white decals are opaque and show up well over dark colors. My favorite sheet of decals is definitely the Alice ones, but the poker pairs nicely and be part of the Alice theme as well. The checkered and striped hearts and bows also make a nice punk rock kind of look. There are so many things you can do with these decals, and decals are a great ay to incorporate nail art if freehand painting isn't your strong suit.

- Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - White On
- Wet n Wild - Black Crème
- Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Rapid Red
- Kleancolor - Chunky Holo Scarlet
- Base and top coats
- Alice water transfer decals
- Nail striping tape
- Blue resin bow
- Two large red teardrop rhinestones
- Krazy Glue
Since the main nail art elements are decals, this is a really quick and easy look to do. To create this look:
- Apply the base colors - middle in red, the rest in white.
- Add a few coats of red glitter polish to the red nail.
- Use striping tape to create stripes across the ring finger, leaving a large space at the tip which will be all black. Pain the nail with black polish, then remove the tape.
- Affix the water transfer decals. Rabbit on pinky, Alice on index finger with playing card symbols, and the white checkered heart and white crown on the middle. Tip: Wet your entire nail before placing the decal. This will allow you to move the decal around on the surface before it is stuck in its permanent position.
- Use two large red teardrop rhinestones to create a heart on the tip of the thumb.
- Glue a blue bow on the ring finger. You could also use a red bow if you want to keep with the color scheme, but I liked the pop of blue since Alice wears a blue dress.
I love these decals!
